DEFLOR BIOENGINEERING was founded in 1984, always acting in the area of environmental protection, erosion control, containment, waterways protection, geotechnics, drainage and earthworks. DEFLOR BIOENGINEERING manufactures anti-erosion biodegradable blankets and sediments retainers based on vegetable and coconut fibers, sold in Brazil and abroad.
All of the products follow the international standards of ASTM – American Society for Testing and Materials. The factory, located in Contagem, Minas Gerais, occupies an area of 25,000 m², and is a pioneering symbol in Latin America.
DEFLOR BIOENGINEERING is a pioneer in the large-scale production of vetiver seedlings (Vetiveria zizanioides) in Brazil, having its own nursery, with structure, technology, and technical capacity to produce 10 million seedlings per year.
DEFLOR has a highly qualified technical staff, formed of professionals to draw up specific projects for each customer, in the mining, agricultural, civil construction, power, steel, petrochemical, polyduct, road, railroad, port and airport industries.
